What style of yoga do we teach?At Yogaville we teach exclusively in the Iyengar Yoga tradition. You can fin out more about this system of yoga here

I’m a yoga beginner – what do I need to knowYou've come to the right place! Our Foundation Level classes are especially for beginners with no yoga experience or those coming from other styles who need to establish the foundations of the practice. All equipment, including mats, is provided. Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach so allow 1.5 - 2 hours after eating before coming to class.

Are Yogaville teachers trained and insured?Absolutely! All Yogaville teachers are certified (or in training under supervision) to the Internationally recognised Iyengar Yoga Certification system. This takes a minumum of 6 years from starting out as an Iyengar Yoga practitioner. Teachers undergo a rigorous exam process to gain certification, it is not just a certificate they receive at the end of training. All teachers hold current insurance.

If I miss a class can I make it up?Unfortunately we no longer guarantee make up classes. It's your responsibility to attend the classes you book.

Do I need to bring a mat or anything else?No, just bring yourself! All equipment, including mats is provided. However you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

What is the studio etiquette?Please arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled class time. Class start on time so please do not be late. If you can not make a class, we ask for 24 hours notice but even if you're a last minute no show, please be courteous and let us know. Leave all bags and personal belongings in the bag stowage areas at the studio. Ensure mobile phones are on silent.

What is the booking and cancellation policy?Bookings are only for the person/s named in the booking & who has signed the waiver and completed the required medical information. The same goes for live stream or video on demand purchase. Only the person who has purchased the video is entitled to view the link. CANCELLATION POLICY Classes & courses at Yogaville are non-refundable and non-transferable except in cases where a genuine medical reason for doing so exists in which case at the discretion of Yogaville, from the date notified, a credit may be given for some unused classes to be transferred to the following term, less a $20 admin fee.
