Yogaville is my haven.  Everything gets left at the door with my shoes, and I go into a room filled with peaceful strength.  The teaching is clear, consistent and completely supportive.  Whilst lessons have their own focus they are also constructed with long term vision: I am continually surprised at how different practices come together to have me doing or understanding something I didn't think possible.  And what I learn, I can take with me and use -- in my lounge room, in a hotel in a new city, at a park in the middle of a run -- to find and grow the space in my body. - Sarah, 29yo

 

I've been practising yoga at Yogaville for 18 months and it's been one of the best things I've ever done for myself. My 54 year old stressed, rigid body is now far more flexible and stronger than it's been for years.  The classes are like an active meditation as they provide an opportunity for one's mind to become totally focussed, allowing the stresses of days that are too busy, to be forgotten, at least temporarily. What a relief after a hectic day in a classroom! The teachers at Yogaville understand that we all have different strengths and limitations and accommodate those within the classes, which means that although things may be challenging, nothing is too hard. I am a 51 year old actress/actor trainer and Mum. I have been practicing yoga on a regular basis with Bron for almost 18 months. I came to Bron’s classes with an absolute determination to “fix” my sore lower back. I had been in considerable pain for several years and just put it down to being super tall, enduring too much stress, being a single Mum and not having time for myself. Now that the kids were older I was determined to get back some of my fitness and strengthen my aging body. My mobility is back to almost normal, and I am fitter than I have been in years.  But more than the physical well being Yoga has brought me, yoga is slowly teaching me how TO BE.  How to create space and lightness in my life so that peace, happiness and well being become my natural state. - Glenda, 51yo
